Back (a little slower than usual)
Hey, it’s been a minute. The past couple months have thrown me off my usual rhythm; IBS flare-ups decided to drop by and make everything a little… unpredictable. Gaming, reading, fitness, even my little creative projects have taken a backseat while I’ve been figuring out how to move through the day without feeling like my stomach is running the show and doing an encore.
But there have been small wins, too. A quiet morning with a warm drink, beanie on, just sitting and breathing. Gentle walks outside when I can manage it, watching the light and colours shift across the sky, noticing small things I usually rush past. It’s slower than I’d usually like, but it’s teaching me to notice and appreciate tiny moments.
Even on days when everything feels off, I can find one or two things that make me feel grounded like a little ritual, a stretch, a sip of tea, the sun hitting the corner of my room. It’s nothing monumental, but it’s enough to keep me going.
Tiny poem for the day:
Slow mornings linger,
Warm tea cradled in my hands,
Quiet wins the day.
